I ve visited Ganish Village one week back and I am still under the majic / spell of Ganish village and Karimabad. I wish I could go there again and again.
GANISH Historical places Around a central pond are several richly wooden Mosques, 150 to 200 years old and timber-and- stone watchtower 200years old. Each donated by four families of Ganish 1. Mamorokuts 2. Koyokuts 3. Unknown 4. Unknown Two km west Ganishs sister village of Tsil Ganish has a Balti-style ImamBarga 160years old. About 1.5km east of Ganish, on the KKH are several stony rises marked by with pictures, prayers and writing from as early as the 1st century AD.
